massimino building corp
A bracket in the basement sparked the transformation of the former Saint Andrew's Convent House into offices for Massimino Building Corporation. MBC wanted to give the vacant convent house a new identity as their headquarters. Original ornament found in the building and other evidence that the building had once been a Victorian clapboard structure provided a persuasive argument for the local Historical Architectural Review Board to allow this transformation. An accessible entrance was created on the side of the building and a rear addition to accommodate the growing company. The interior was completely reconfigured to create gracious light filled spaces and comply with current building codes.
