Ford 3 has continued their legacy of sustainable design with the completion of two new stand alone, 5 guest room nursing residences. Situated on their sixty-six acre campus, the design takes advantage of the natural surroundings through the use of sunrooms and skylights. Each building has separate guestrooms with common living room, dining room, kitchen, and sunroom spaces. 

Ford 3 incorporated the following elements during the design process to reduce environmental impact as well as energy consumption and associated costs: High performance geothermal heating and cooling, High performance insulation, Energy star appliances, Renewable and recycled building materials, High interior environmental air quality & Solar hot water.
