New Construction
architect's House
In my studies of the history of Architecture and my travel abroad, I have always been intrigued by the concept of the courtyard. Many reasons exist for courtyards in different climates and settings, but my reason was to create a house where all of the major spaces are flooded with light and visually connected through the courtyard. In addition, a second courtyard is formed between the house and the garage and serves as a protected space for a kitchen garden.
